Sometimes You Just Need to Tell Someone
I built Trueish because I missed having a place where I could just speak freely.
At some point, X started to feel too censored to me. Too often, it felt like people were being silenced. Before posting, I found myself thinking less about what I wanted to say and more about what might happen if I said it.
Sometimes you just want to share something deeply personal. Admit a feeling you’re ashamed of. Tell a story you’ve carried for years. Put it into words without attaching your name, defending yourself, or worrying that someone might use your honesty against you.
That’s why I created Trueish.me. I wanted something simple: a place for anonymous stories, where someone might read yours and say, “I’ve felt that too.”
I can’t promise every response will be kind. But that’s the kind of community I want to build here. Sometimes we don’t need advice or a solution. We just need to feel heard—and a little less alone.
